Our priority is to improve the health, safety and wellbeing at work by supporting Mid North Coast Local Health District to be the safest workplace possible, recognised for robust safety management systems whilst strengthening a safe work culture. 

The MNCLHD Employee Wellbeing Framework aims to contribute to the delivery of safe, quality and consistent care by focusing on improving the overall health and wellbeing of our staff.

AccessEAP (Employee Assistance Program) is a voluntary, confidential and complimentary counselling service. It is a short-term, solution focused approach to help you and /or members of your family enhance overall wellbeing.

AccessEAP can assist when personal, family or work-related concerns are impacting on your health or quality of life and also when you need guidance on professional or personal goals or effective communication skills.

This service is completely confidential. Your employer or colleagues will never be informed that you have accessed the Employee Assistance Program.

Appointments can be made by simply telephoning AccessEAP. The AccessEAP Client Services Team can arrange face-to-face counselling at a time and location that’s convenient to you. Counselling services are also available via telephone and online.

All AccessEAP counsellors are independent of the Mid North Coast Local Health District and focused on supporting you to address any issues impacting your wellbeing.

Fitness Passport is a corporate health and fitness program that allows eligible Mid North Coast Local Health District employees affordable access to a wide range local health and fitness suppliers. The purpose is to inspire a greater number of people to start regular exercise by delivering a service that represents excellent value and provides plenty of variety.

Mid North Coast Local Health District is proud to offer eligible employees access to a wide range of health and fitness facilities as part of the Fitness Passport program.

Your CARE Hub is packed with resources, tools and tips designed to support your wellbeing, when and how you choose to take care of it (in a sense, your own oxygen mask). It’s smart device friendly and it’s also a fantastic extension of our current organisational wellbeing support programs.

It empowers you to develop your own bespoke path to wellbeing, whether it be through physical, psychological, financial wellbeing, social connections or finding support as care givers. Registration is free for all MNCLHD staff.
