Mental Health Services

We’re a multi-award-winning mental health team providing exceptional care in our communities through a range of services. Our clinicians collaborate with consumers, families, carers, and external agencies to plan and evaluate care, covering acute and rehabilitation inpatient care and community-based services across all age groups.
Our diverse specialties include emergency mental health, specialised outreach teams, peer support services, and more, all while working closely with other health services in the MNCLHD.
You’ll join a collaborative team of around 350 staff known for their innovation and receive strong support through various strategies, including a highly regarded Transition to Practice Program and access to specialist training. Our organisation emphasises staff wellbeing and a culture of trauma-informed, culturally safe care, promoting a just and restorative environment.

The MNCLHD Drug and Alcohol Service offers a diverse range of job opportunities and work locations.

The services we provide include:
- hospital consultation liaison
- withdrawal management (inpatient and outpatient)
- counselling
- Opioid Agonist Treatment (Methadone or Buprenorphine)
- Magistrates Early Referral into Treatment (MERIT)
- Substance Use and Pregnancy and Parenting Service (SUPPS).
You will be joining a growing multidisciplinary team embarking on new innovations in service delivery in a rural setting. All team members will have access to ongoing high standard training and supervision.
