Mid North Coast Local Health District has adopted the NSW Health Policy Directive Public Interest Disclosures (PD2023_026) as its Public Interest Disclosures Policy under the Public Interest Disclosures Act 2022 (NSW) (PID Act).

Any NSW Health staff member who has knowledge of, or who has witnessed serious wrongdoing in MNCLHD or by one of its staff members, is encouraged to make a confidential report to our Internal Audit team by emailing MNCLHD-PID@health.nsw.gov.au or to one of our MNCLHD Disclosure Officers. You will receive acknowledgment of your report and the matter will be assessed and managed according to the NSW Health policy and the relevant legislation.

Under the PID Act, serious wrongdoing includes:

corrupt conduct
serious maladministration
a privacy contravention
a serious and substantial waste of public money
a government information contravention.
