It is important to stay as well as possible physically when you have cancer. This can help you cope with your treatment and feel better in yourself. 

If you are a smoker, the most important thing you can do is to quit. Research shows that people who quit smoking after diagnosis respond better to treatment and recover faster.

Studies have also shown that exercise has many benefits for people with cancer.
