Menopause during cancer treatment
Chemotherapy or hormone blocking tablets during and after cancer treatment can cause troublesome menopausal symptoms.
Common symptoms include hot flushes, painful joints, night sweats, mood changes, loss of libido, difficulty sleeping, fatigue and vaginal dryness.
If you have oestrogen positive cancer you need to discuss any use of hormone therapy with your medical oncologist before using.
