Did you know that where you cannot smoke, you also cannot vape?

Vaping is the use of electronic cigarettes, e-cigarettes or ‘vapes’.

Mid North Coast Local Health District staff are reminded that smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere on Mid North Coast Local Health District hospitals and community health sites.

Help contribute to a cleaner, healthier environment for our patients, visitors and colleagues by not smoking or vaping at our sites.

By having a smoking and vaping-free health service, we are protecting those we who work with and people in our care from exposure to second-hand tobacco smoke and e-cigarette aerosol. It also helps those trying to quit.

For staff who want to know more information on vaping for their patients check out Health Promotion Internet page here.
