Power of purple helps promotes Parkinson’s Disease awareness

Apr 11, 2024

Port Macquarie’s CWA Rooms were a sea of purple as the Port Macquarie Parkinson’s Support Group hosted a World Parkinson’s Day Information Expo on 11 April.

The event brought together specialist Mid North Coast Local Health District staff, service providers, support group members, carers and representatives from Parkinson’s NSW and Port Macquarie-Hastings Council.

The expo featured exercise demonstrations, information stalls and the opportunity to support fundraising efforts with the chance to win a magnificent wooden rocking horse.
