As the holiday season approaches, Health managers throughout the Mid North Coast Local Health District are bringing their teams together for their final meeting of the year.

Among them is the Women’s Health and Domestic Violence Prevention Education team, who took the opportunity for a quick photo to wish their fellow health workers the best for the season.

District Coordinator for Women’s Health and Wellbeing Susan Hoff said she truly appreciated working with such dedicated and compassionate team.

“What a powerhouse of experience and wisdom in this group of nurses and Aboriginal Health Workers,” Susan said.

“We are blessed to have them supporting priority populations in the District.”

The Women’s Health and Domestic Violence Prevention Education team sits within Community and Allied Health, and has a vision to provide better health and wellbeing for women, girls and people with a cervix in Mid North Coast communities.

Women’s health nurses deliver effective and efficient clinical services, education, health promotion programs and brief interventions that improve the health of women on the Mid North Coast, especially those most at risk of poor health outcomes.
