There were 24 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 8pm yesterday (20 December).

Fourteen cases are from the Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Government Area (LGA), six cases are from the Coffs Harbour LGA, two cases are from the Bellingen LGA, and one case each from the Kempsey and Nambucca Valley LGAs.

The source of the infection of 18 cases is under investigation, five cases are linked to a known case or cluster and one case is a household contact of a confirmed case.

There have been 739 cases reported in the District since the beginning of the current NSW outbreak.

Please get vaccinated to protect yourself and others against COVID-19 and keep coming forward for testing if you experience any symptoms.
