There were 28 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 8pm yesterday (17 December).

Twenty-one cases are from the Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Government Area (LGA), six cases are from the Coffs Harbour LGA and one case is from the Nambucca Valley LGA.

The source of the infection of 25 cases is under investigation and three cases are linked to a known case or cluster.

There have been 668 cases reported in the District since the beginning of the current NSW outbreak.

Please get vaccinated to protect yourself and others against COVID-19 and keep coming forward for testing if you experience any symptoms.
