Nurses and midwives celebrated at Coffs Harbour Health Campus
May 09, 2024Coffs Harbour Health Campus was buzzing with celebrations last week, to honour the invaluable contributions of our nurses and midwives, in recognition of International Day of the Midwife (5 May) and International Nurses Day (12 May).
Staff gathered to recognise the past year’s accomplishments with an engaging array of activities, informative booths representing various nursing and midwifery teams, an awards ceremony, and a barbecue.
Reflecting on their collective achievements, Deputy Director of Nursing Janelle Goodall said all staff had stepped up time and time again to ensure patients, families, colleagues and friends have been cared for and, despite a constantly changing environment, our nurses and midwives continued to turn up, step into unfamiliar roles, lead teams to deliver our services in new ways.
