Newport Village rocks at fundraising

The wonderful residents of Newport Village, and their friends, have danced their way towards another generous donation in support of Rehabilitation patients at Wauchope District Memorial Hospital.

Colourful character John Norton once again rallied the residents for a Rock ‘n’ Roll night featuring DJ Stevie B and about 80 rock ‘n’ rollers, including members of some local Rock ‘n’ Roll clubs.

Residents David and Bev did a fine job catering for the guests, who were treated to great music, great raffle prizes and Best Dressed and Best Dancer prizes.

The fun night raised $900 in support the Rehabilitation Unit, so a big thank you to our Newport Village friends.
