Merry Christmas Coffs Harbour!
Dec 22, 2023The air was filled with the scent of sizzling sausages and the holiday season festive spirit at the annual Coffs Harbour Health Campus Christmas barbeque this week.
Staff donned Santa hats, Christmas costumes and aprons to prepare and share a delicious lunchtime spread, celebrating another year working with teammates and colleagues.
It was also an exciting time, as General Manager of Coffs Clinical Network Lydia Dennett announced the winners of the Christmas Decoration Competition.
Environmental Services took out first prize, followed closely by runners-up Medical Ward B.
The Medical Assessment Unit were the champions in the X-mas Factor category, while the hard work of a yearlong campaign in the Maternity Unit paid off, as it was announced as the winner of Thinking Outside the Box for its display of Christmas baubles, made up of all the names of the babies born throughout the year.
A special mention was awarded by the judge to the Education Centre.
A big thank you to all the staff who went above and beyond to make this year’s decorations a success.
