Go 4 Fun registrations now open

Health professionals who support families of children who are above a healthy weight, are encouraged to refer their patients to the Go 4 Fun program.

The free program is for children aged 7 to 13 years and their families. It runs for 10 weeks during the school term and involves children attending a two-hour session each week with their parent or carer.

The sessions include fun, interactive games and activities to get their heart rates up while learning about healthy eating, portion sizes, label reading and more.

Registration is now open for the Term 4 Go 4 Fun programs across the Mid North Coast.

The MNCLHD Health Promotion team are available to provide education or in services to staff on the program and how to refer to it.
