If you live in the Port Macquarie, Lake Cathie, Bonny Hills or Camden Haven areas and have even the slightest of symptoms, Mid North Coast Local Health District urges you to get tested for COVID-19.
The Local Health District is opening a drive-through testing clinic at Lake Cathie Sporting Complex from 10am tomorrow (Thursday 2 September) and from 8am on Friday (3 September).
Port Macquarie-Hastings residents can also attend the drive-through testing clinic at Port Macquarie Regional Stadium, which is open daily from 8am. Both clinics will be open this weekend from 8am.
On the Mid North Coast, there are also COVID-19 testing clinics at Coffs Harbour, Woolgoolga, Bellingen, Nambucca Heads, Macksville, Kempsey, South West Rocks and Wauchope.
To find your nearest clinic, visit the NSW Government website.
Symptoms of COVID-19 can include a runny nose, scratchy or sore throat, cough, fever, shortness of breath, headache, tiredness, loss of taste or smell, nausea, diarrhoea or muscle aches.
Anyone feeling unwell should immediately get tested and self-isolate until they receive a negative result, so that any potential cases in the community are identified as quickly as possible.
