There were five new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 8pm yesterday (6 December).

Three cases are from the Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Government Area (LGA) and two are from Coffs Harbour LGA.

Two cases were acquired overseas, one is a household contact of a confirmed case and the source of infection for two of the cases is under investigation.

There have been 540 cases reported in the District since the beginning of the current NSW outbreak.

Please get vaccinated to protect yourself and others against COVID-19 and keep coming forward for testing if you experience any symptoms.
