Wauchope hospital bowled over by their generosity
Feb 23, 2023Wauchope Women’s Bowls Club members love their competition days, but they also host a friendship day once a year to welcome new members.
Proceeds from their social day helped fund a donation to Wauchope District Memorial Hospital today, where the $400 gift will be used by Nurse Unit Manager Nez to help support her patients.
The donation also included funds raised through the lady bowlers’ Wrong Bias initiative, where wayward bowls attract a gold coin donation.
The ladies have been regular visitors to our hospital over recent years with today’s donation bringing their support for our patients to $2440. Well done President Pat and a big thank you from our team to yours.
