There were 246 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 4pm yesterday (11 February 2022) – including 217 positive rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 29 positive PCR tests*.

Sadly, Mid North Coast Health is reporting the death of a person with COVID-19 in their 90s from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA. We extend our sincere condolences to their loved ones.

Of today’s cases, 94 are from Coffs Harbour Local Government Area (LGA), 78 are from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA, 29 are from Kempsey LGA, 25 are from Nambucca Valley LGA and 20 are from Bellingen LGA.

There are 51 COVID-19 cases in Mid North Coast hospitals, with two people in intensive care.

There have been 19,495 cases reported in the district since June 2021.

At our Mid North Coast Health clinics, there were 93 tests conducted yesterday.
