A barbeque feast for Kempsey

When the Kempsey United Hospital Auxiliary (UHA) set out to buy a barbeque for Kempsey District Hospital, they had their hearts (and stomachs) set on something special.

After all, what’s better than a good old-fashioned sausage sizzle to bring people together for fundraising and social events?

But when they arrived at Bunnings South Kempsey ready to make the purchase, something amazing happened. Bunnings said, “Nah, we got this!” and donated a barbeque!

That’s right—thanks to the incredible generosity of Bunnings, our staff and volunteers will now be grilling up a storm for a great cause.

More fundraising, more community spirit and definitely more snags!
