271 new COVID-19 cases reported for Mid North Coast

There were 271 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 4pm yesterday (22 February 2022) – including 246 positive rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 25 positive PCR tests*.

Sadly, Mid North Coast Health is reporting the death of a person in their 80s with COVID-19 from Nambucca Valley LGA. We extend our sincere condolences to their loved ones.

Of today’s cases, 107 are from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA, 81 are from Coffs Harbour LGA, 41 are from Kempsey LGA, 28 are from Nambucca Valley LGA and 14 are from Bellingen LGA.

There are 38 COVID-19 cases in Mid North Coast hospitals, with four people in intensive care.

There have been 21,995 cases reported in the district since June 2021.

At our Mid North Coast Health clinics, there were 67 tests conducted yesterday.
