A helping hand to get kids active

Feb 24, 2023

It’s that time of year again when families can register for the NSW Government Active Kids and First Lap vouchers.

Active Kids

The Active Kids program provides a $100 voucher for parents, guardians and carers of school-enrolled children to use towards sport and active recreation costs each year.

This is a great initiative to share with clients and patients, and for you to take advantage of for your own family.

The Active Kids program provides two $100 vouchers per annum per child. The first voucher is available from 1 January and the second from 1 July 2023.

There are more than 12,000 registered providers available in NSW.

Find out more, or to apply for a voucher at the Service NSW website.

First Lap

The First Lap voucher program is aimed at pre-school-aged children. The program provides a $100 voucher for parents, guardians and carers of children aged 3-6 years who are not enrolled in school to help pay for swimming lessons.

A First Lap voucher can be used when paying for an eligible child’s swimming lessons with a registered First Lap Provider.

First Lap vouchers are available now and expire on 30 June 2023.

Apply for a First Lap voucher at the Service NSW website.
