Wauchope Hospital Volunteers have held their final meeting of the year, followed by their Christmas luncheon, at Wauchope RSL Club.

The relaxed get-together was a chance to reflect on a very successful 2021.

Also present was Wauchope District Memorial Hospital Director of Nursing/Executive Officer Ann Bodill and Nurse Manager Kate Williams, the group’s long-standing patron, Deputy Mayor Lisa Intemann, volunteer auditor Paul Watkins and Mid North Coast Local Health District representative Sharon Fuller.

President Win Secombe thanked her team for their hard work throughout 2021, which included the monthly stalls in the IGA carpark in Hastings St, Wauchope.

Ms Bodill also thanked the volunteers for their hard work and commitment to the hospital, which described as a much-loved part of the community.

“Our volunteers are integral to the marvellous work being done at Wauchope Hospital,” Ms Bodill said.

“We are proud of our hospital and proud of everything you do for our hospital and our patients.”
