Mid North Coast Local Health District is always looking for opportunities to strengthen its safe workplace culture.

Health and Safety Representatives (HSRs) provide an important role in the way the District consults and gathers information about what the health and safety issues are for its work group.

Health Safety and Wellbeing WHS Advisor Les Lee is facilitating the latest round of Safe Work NSW approved HSR training at Port Macquarie Base Hospital.

Once trained, HSRs not only gain a better understanding of the health and safety landscape, but also acquire a range of roles or responsibilities to help make Mid North Coast Local Health District the safest workplace possible.

If you would like to learn more about becoming a HSR, contact your local WHS Advisor or visit the SafeWork NSW website.
