Lions in their natural habitat at Port Macquarie Base Hospital

May 22, 2024

Only at Port Macquarie Base Hospital could you say you weren’t surprised to see six Lions in one of its courtyards.

No ordinary lions… these are the wonderful members of Port Macquarie Tacking Point Lions Club who today were busy in the Acute Geriatric Evaluation Management Unit’s garden courtyard.

These hardworking volunteers have maintained the courtyard since helping to fund it more than a decade ago, and we are very grateful for their ongoing hard work, commitment and inspiring sense of community.
