Kendall CWA branch supports palliative care patients
Aug 30, 2023The wonderful ladies from the Kendall Country Women’s Association (CWA) popped into the Palliative Care Unit at Wauchope District Memorial Hospital with a $200 donation this week.
Nurse Unit Manager Mary Trotter will use the kind gift to help improve the comfort of the unit’s seriously ill patients.
Ms Trotter thanked the CWA members for thinking of her patients.
“We know the CWA stalls in Kendall are popular, and now we hope those who buy your treats feel great about supporting your fundraising efforts in the knowledge they are making a difference for palliative care patients from throughout the Camden Haven and Hastings,” Ms Trotter said.
