Family Planning
The Family Planning service is a free, confidential service targeting young people up to 24 years of age and covers issues such as:
- contraception and contraceptive advice
- pregnancy testing and counselling
- sexual health and safer sex information
- information on sexually transmitted infections (STI)
- breast checks
- cervical screening test
- menstrual and bleeding problems, and
- any issues to do with sexual and reproductive health.
The Family Planning service is also available to pensioners and health care card holders, regardless of age.
