The 2 day workshop focuses on influencing how nurses and midwives work with their nursing and interdisciplinary teams, out of hours. The training highlights the importance of supporting those nurses who work in-charge of shift, out of hours. The key aim of the program is to foster a ‘culture of caring’ using a long term and measured approach to build a culture of tolerance and respect

Learning Outcomes:

• Enhance participants understanding of what is effective communication
• Participants will gain insight into personal communication.
• Participants will be able to critical reflect on the patient impact when effective communication happens more of the time
