I’ve worked in a variety of nursing management roles within the MNCLHD over the past 15 years. I love the rainforest and the rivers so for me, living in the beautiful town of Bellingen is just ideal.

I’ve worked in education and practice development roles both within Health and the NGO sector. I enjoy working with staff on ideas for positive and productive change and innovation.  It’s exciting to collaborate and connect around ideas that are focused on improving, creating and treating ourselves kindly. I think a great question to ask is “what’s the best that can happen?”

I enjoy black water rafting, base jumping and extreme mountain biking… LOL … obviously this is a joke!

TANIA’S UNFOLDING STORY  

My background story is diverse: acute clinical care, aged care, pathology, leadership positions in nursing management, education and innovation.  

Role Interests:

For me it’s about enhancing the health care experience for people, both those using the service and just as importantly staff too. What ties this together is the approach to conversation, where we get to know who people are, what matters to them and what they hope for. 

Understanding another person’s point of view helps us to learn and innovate together with people rather than for people.
