Facilitation Mentorship Program (FMP)

This program offers Nurses and Midwives the opportunity to learn and develop skills in the facilitation of change and innovation with the mentorship of a skilled facilitator.

The program is conducted over a 12 week period during where the participant is released from their substantive position one day per week to work on a change /improvement/development/ initiative of their choosing.

Four places are offered in both networks annually, with expressions of interest (EOI) posted in May every year. This program is very popular so if you are interested please watch out for the EOI or email Tania or Lorraine to find out more.

The following short video tells you more about the program , with a few past participants speaking about their experience

Appreciative Inquiry (AI) for Positive Change

AI is a strengths based, positive approach to leadership development and organisational change.  A basic principle of AI is that an organisation will grow in whichever direction the people in that organisation focus their attention.  So simply put, what we focus on grows and expands.

This approach to change and innovation is focused on discovering what is working well, exploring why it’s working well and creating ways together to make these things happen in more places more of the time.

We conduct a range of customised  sessions and workshops for teams to explore the tools and approaches of AI to support and guide them along the way.

In the resource and tools section of this site, you will find some information and links sites to assist you in using this approach personally, professionally, individually, with teams and large groups, really just about  everywhere with anyone.
