The friendly faces bringing smiles to our staff and patients

Throughout the Mid North Coast Local Health District, staff are seeing some familiar faces who help brighten our hospitals and community health centres.

Volunteers are returning to our health campuses, following the introduction of risk assessments and COVID-safe practices.

Their absence, sometimes for months on end during the pandemic, had left a void in the health service but that space is quickly being filled with laughter, friendly conversations and helping hands.

It’s been a difficult two years for everyone, but particularly so our volunteers who have missed their friends and fellow volunteers, staff and patients.

To every volunteer, our Health family on the Mid North Coast says “welcome back! We’ve missed you!”
