Three lucky people have each won awesome Christmas hampers thanks to Port Macquarie Pink Ladies’ Christmas raffle.

The $2 investment has returned each winner with a luxurious selection of festive season goodies, including quality treats and vouchers donated by local business houses.

The proceeds of the raffle will be used by the Pink Ladies to improve patient care and comfort at Port Macquarie Base Hospital.

Fittingly, the winning ticket for the major prize, drawn by MNCLHD Corporate Relations Manager Sharon Fuller, went to former Pink Ladies volunteer Elaine Abbott. Second prize went to Katie Loveday and third prize to Toni Gibson.

The winners have been advised of their good fortune, and President Gabby Gregory thanked all who bought a ticket.

“The Pink Ladies fully appreciate the support, much of which came from staff and visitors to Port Macquarie Base Hospital,” Gabby said.

“It means we can continue to support the hospital’s patients through donations of medical equipment and comfort items.”

The raffle was drawn in the hospital cafeteria at 10.20am today.
