The Quit for New Life program supports women who identify as having an Aboriginal baby to quit smoking during pregnancy and to stay quit after the birth of their baby.
The Quit for New life worker will provide;
- Free patches, lozenges, inhalers, gum (Nicotine Replacement Therapy) for up to 12 weeks
- Support and advice on quitting smoking
- Information on smoking and quitting
- Support to stay quit.
The QFNL worker will provide pregnant women who identify as having an aboriginal baby with support during pregnancy and up to 3-6 months after the baby is born.
