Suitable for patients who are:

  • Independently mobile or using walking aids
  • Able to follow verbal and written instructions independently.

Stepping On Falls Prevention Program

MNCLHD Health Promotion coordinate Stepping On with several programs running every year.

Criteria:
The seven week Stepping On program is available to patients who are:

  • Aged > 65 years
  • Have a fear of falling or previous falls in last 12 months
  • Cognitively intact
  • Reasonably mobile to perform simple strength & balance exercises.

Exclusions:
Patients with Parkinson disease (refer to general outpatients).
