Hospital Inpatients are referred to the Dietitian for nutrition assessment and intervention to facilitate nutrition care plans for patients with a range of conditions or who are at risk of malnutrition while in hospital.
Nutrition Outpatient Services are provided by the Diabetes Dietitian, Community Dietitian, Oncology Dietitian & Renal Dietitian. Nutrition assessment, diagnosis intervention, education and review is provided.

Referrals are received through a variety of means including follow up of hospital inpatients, specialist doctors, General Practitioners, Community Health and other health care providers. Referrals are required for all outpatient services.
