Research Placement Program
Background
Consistent with the stated priorities in MNCLHD’s Research Plan (2017-2021), a commitment has been made to ensure staff have opportunities to engage in research in a number of ways. Based on this commitment, the Research Placement Program offers an opportunity for MNCLHD staff to develop a locally relevant project and work with leading research institutes.
Participating organisations
We are delighted to have five world class research organisations to work with in providing a unique, intensive research experience for our staff across very different fields of research. One placement is available in each organisation – this means that up to five staff members will be selected; one per organisation. The organisations on offer and their core roles are:
- Black Dog Institute
- The Garvan Institute of Medical Research
- National Drug and Alcohol Research Centre
- Neuroscience Research Australia
- Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute
Current status
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic the Research Placement Program is currently on hold and not accepting any applications.
