Aug 26, 2024

The Dorrigo branch of the United Hospital Auxiliaries of NSW (UHA) has once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to its local community and the heath campus that supports it.

Dorrigo Multi Purpose Service (MPS) has received an $11,000 Ook Snow bed designed to enhance patient comfort and safety while providing ease of use for healthcare workers.

“Despite being a small community perched atop the hill, when our hospital is in need, we need look no further than the incredible women of our Hospital Auxiliary,” said Lynn Forsyth, Dorrigo MPS Nurse Manager.

“This state-of-the art bed is  equipped with all the latest features to ensure that patients enjoy a more comfortable stay. The UHA donation is a testament to their dedication to enhancing patient care in our community.

“We also extend our heartfelt thanks to the Dorrigo Rotary Club, whose generous contribution to the UHA made this purchase possible.

“The support from both the UHA and the Rotary Club is deeply appreciated by our entire community.

“Thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. Your efforts continue to make a significant impact on the lives of those who rely on our hospital,” Ms Forsyth said.
