Walking together for Reconciliation Week

Jun 17, 2024

Mid North Coast Local Health District and Galambila hosted a walk and morning tea event at the Jetty in Coffs Harbour, on Friday 7 June, to celebrate Reconciliation Week.

The theme for the 2024 Reconciliation Walk was “Now more than ever”, calling for all Australians to join together in solidarity to change things for the better for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

In the spirit of this theme, more than 30 community members attended the Reconciliation Walk, enjoying a short walk and morning tea together, and yarning about health and wellbeing with staff from MNCLHD and Galambila, along with other non-government organisations who were also in attendance.
