Vaccination gives added protection against COVID-19

There were 222 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 8pm yesterday (2 January 2022).

One hundred and twenty cases are from the Coffs Harbour Local Government Area (LGA), 60 cases are from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA, 26 cases are from Kempsey LGA, 10 cases are from Nambucca Valley LGA and six cases are from Bellingen LGA.

There have been 2,409 cases reported in the district since June 2021.

There were 780 tests conducted at our Mid North Coast Health clinics yesterday.

Our vaccination clinics at Coffs Harbour, Port Macquarie and Kempsey are resuming normal operations this week so book your appointment today!

Coffs and Port will reopen tomorrow (Tuesday 4 January 2022) and Kempsey will reopen on Wednesday (5 January 2022).

Vaccination clinic operating times are:

📌 Coffs Harbour Health Campus Tuesday to Saturday, 8am to 4pm

📌 Port Macquarie (35 Grant StreetMonday to Thursday, 8am to 4pm

📌 Kempsey District Hospital Wednesday to Friday, 8am to 4pm

COVID-19 vaccinations, including booster shots, are also available from GPs, pharmacies and Commonwealth vaccination clinics.
