Two deaths and 458 new COVID-19 cases for Mid North Coast

There were 458 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 4pm yesterday (2 February 2022) – including 405 positive rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 53 positive PCR tests*.

Sadly, Mid North Coast Health is reporting the deaths of two people in their 90s with COVID-19 from Coffs Harbour LGA. We extend our sincere condolences to their family and loved ones.

One hundred and seventy-eight are from Coffs Harbour Local Government Area (LGA), 152 are from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA, 67 are from Kempsey LGA, 41 are from Nambucca Valley LGA and 20 are from Bellingen LGA.

There have been 16,751 cases reported in the district since June 2021.

At our Mid North Coast Health clinics, there were 109 tests conducted yesterday.
