Mid North Coast residents are urged to get vaccinated and tested for COVID-19 if they have any symptoms of the virus.
Three new COVID-19 cases in Kempsey LGA

There were three cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 8pm yesterday (1 December).
All of the cases are from the Kempsey Local Government Area (LGA) and all are linked to a known case or cluster.
There have been 523 cases reported in the District since the beginning of the current NSW outbreak.
We continue to urge anyone with the mildest of symptoms to get tested for COVID-19 following the detection of fragments of the virus in sewage samples taken from Woolgoolga, Nambucca Heads and Kendall/Kew sewage treatment plants.
Testing sewage can help provide early warning of undetected infections in an area. In these instances, where there are no known cases of COVID-19, this is of particular concern.
Please get vaccinated to protect yourself and others against COVID-19 and keep coming forward for testing if you experience any symptoms such as a fever, sore throat, cough, runny nose, shortness of breath or loss of taste or smell.
