The importance of movement to prevent pressure injuries

The Clinical Excellence Commission is hosting a webinar focusing on the essential role of a multidisciplinary team approach in preventing pressure injuries.

The commission’s Older Person’s Patient Safety team, along with a multidisciplinary panel, will host the webinar in recognition of Worldwide Pressure Injury Awareness Day (21 November).

Attendees will gain insights into:

The importance of a multidisciplinary team approach to prevent patient harm
Strategies for early and safe mobilisation
Repositioning techniques to improve safety

There will be two sessions to accommodate different schedules:

Session 1:
10:am – 10:30 am
Tuesday, 19 November

Session 2 (Repeat):

2:pm – 2:30pm
Thursday, 21 November
