Port Macquarie Base Hospital’s ICU celebrates 10th birthday
Aug 28, 2024Port Macquarie Base Hospital Intensive Care Unit staff celebrated 10 years since the opening of the new unit with cake and a presentation of the Years of Service badges.
The new ICU was part of a massive hospital expansion that opened to patients in August 2014.
Some of the original staff mix that were part of the move to the new unit and current ICU staff came together to mark the occasion.
Special guest and former ICU Medical Director Dr. Bill Lancashire attended from overseas to virtually join the festivities.
