Pink Ladies deliver a ‘wheelie’ valued donation to AGEM

A huge shoutout to the amazing Port Macquarie Pink Ladies for their generous donation of a $700 anti-tip wheelchair to Port Macquarie Base Hospital’s Acute Geriatric Evaluation Management (AGEM) Unit!

This wheelchair is more than just equipment; it represents independence for many of the unit’s frail aged patients.

Thanks to this donation, they now have the opportunity to safely explore the unit’s beautiful Wandering Path courtyard, so lovingly restored by the Lions Club of Port Macquarie Tacking Point recently.

Nurse Unit Manager Lyndelle Lee said the donation was warmly welcomed by her staff and patients.

“We are incredibly grateful for the support of the Pink Ladies and all the wonderful people in our community who truly have the best interests of our patients at heart. Together, we make a difference! “
