NAIDOC Week activities kick off
Jul 04, 2023Staff at Port Macquarie Base Hospital celebrated the history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people at a NAIDOC Week event this week.
Attendees enjoyed a barbecue lunch, celebratory cake, speeches and a song from Uncle Cyril Davis.
This year’s NAIDOC Week theme For Our Elders acknowledges the important and prominent role that Elders have played, and continue to play, across every generation in our local communities.
