Mid North Coast cases rise to 637 in past 24 hours

There were 637 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 8pm yesterday (5 January 2022).

Two hundred and sixty-six cases are from the Port Macquarie-Hastings Local Government Area (LGA), 238 cases are from Coffs Harbour LGA, 105 cases are from Kempsey LGA, 14 cases are from Bellingen LGA and 14 cases are from Nambucca Valley LGA.

There are 28 COVID-19 cases in Mid North Coast hospitals, with four people in intensive care.

There have been 3,830 cases reported in the district since June 2021.

There were 1,768 tests conducted at our Mid North Coast Health clinics yesterday.
