Home hospice fundraiser brings staff and community together

The Blanc de Blanc afternoon fundraiser for Hastings Home Hospice was a success on Saturday 29 June.

Everyone dressed in their best white outfits and supported the cause to raise $1,139 for Hastings Home Hospice, a strong supporter of the Wauchope District Memorial Hospital and Hastings community.

Hayley Byatt (Phlebotomist, WDMH) earned the best dressed award for matching her outfit with her porcelain doll.

Raffle winners were: 

• Wauchope Handmade Quilt: Julie Adams (EA)
• Breville toaster and two-for-one movie voucher from Majestic Cinemas: Jeremy Rourke ( Physio, WDMH)
• Waterford Marquis Crystal bowl and double pass movie voucher: Jess Clout (CNE, WDMH)

Thanks to those who donated prizes towards the raffles:

• Wauchope Patchwork Quilters donated a beautiful handmade quilt
• Wauchope Country Club for the donation of their function room
• Circle of Friends, Wauchope donated a cheese platter
• Majestic Cinemas, Port Macquarie for their donation of movie vouchers
• South Sydney Rabbitohs donated a signed match ball
• Raffle gift packs received from Manly Sea Eagles, St George Illawarra Dragons and Penrith Panthers
