Aug 09, 2023Mid North Coast Local Health District staff recently celebrated National Recognition Day for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workers and Practitioners.
August 7 is the designated day to acknowledge the work undertaken across the Mid North Coast by the District’s Aboriginal team members in providing a crucial role in improving health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal people.
This vital work takes place every day.
At Kempsey this week, the team was hard at work planning the Women’s Health and Wellness Expo, which will be held at Dunghutti Elders Council, South St, South Kempsey on Tuesday 5 September.
