Get involved in our first Gender Equality Action Plan

Oct 29, 2024

People of all genders have a right to high-quality, equitable healthcare.

NSW Health is addressing the ways that gender can impact health outcomes and experiences of the health system, including for members of our workforce.

Join the Gender Equality Action Plan information session at 2:30pm – 3pm on Monday 11 November. This online session will cover:

  • why we need an Action Plan
  • what we are doing
  • how you can provide feedback
  • questions.

Register now for the information session! Get in fast as numbers are limited. The session will be capped at 1,000 attendees.

If you cannot attend the information session a recording link will be sent to everyone who registers.

How to provide feedback

Following the information session, you can provide feedback on the priorities and actions included in the Gender Equality Action Plan. You can choose to:

  • Sign up for one of five short online feedback sessions. Each of these will be capped at 50 participants
  • complete a short survey after the information session.

This Action Plan is the first for NSW Health. The input of staff is critical to make sure the plan works for the whole health system. This is a chance to get the foundations right so we can continue improving gender equality in the future.
