Elevated vibe at Bellinger River District Hospital
Oct 08, 2024Bellinger River District Hospital staff are celebrating the installation of a new lift, following weeks of construction to replace the existing 1950’s ageing equipment.
The old lift was no longer supported for new parts impacting repairs and increasing preventative maintenance. During these periods of breakdown, food services to patients were most significantly impacted and staff would have to use transport trolleys.
Executive Officer Lisa Slater thanked the community of Bellingen for their patience during the construction of works.
“The hospital community is extremely grateful for the installation of the new lift with its shiny new interior, quiet operation and reliability for supporting facility services. We look forward to years of service from our new lift.”
