There were 313 new cases of COVID-19 reported in the Mid North Coast Local Health District to 4pm yesterday (4 February 2022) – including 261 positive rapid antigen tests (RATs) and 52 positive PCR tests*.

Sadly, Mid North Coast Health is reporting the death of one person in their 80s with COVID-19 from Coffs Harbour LGA. We extend our sincere condolences to their family and loved ones.

One hundred and twelve are from Coffs Harbour Local Government Area (LGA), 111 are from Port Macquarie-Hastings LGA, 48 are from Kempsey LGA, 26 are from Nambucca Valley LGA and 16 are from Bellingen LGA.

There are 60 COVID-19 cases in Mid North Coast hospitals, with two people in intensive care.

There have been 17,454 cases reported in the district since June 2021.

At our Mid North Coast Health clinics, there were 135 tests conducted yesterday.
